You get what you pay for. The community kitchen was small and the trash was frequently not removed, so there were flies everywhere in the kitchen and I avoided it. I was woken up at 3am one night by a front desk attendant who insisted I was in the wrong bunk until I showed him my email/QR code proving I was in the right bunk. On the plus side, the pod was fairly cool even in the middle of a heat wave, I didn’t sweat at all at night which is unusual for me in hot environments.

The AC was really loud and made it hard to sleep. The shower could’ve been cleaner too. Also, one of the top bunks was right under the room light, so if anyone turned it on, it shined straight into the bed.

This is a very nice place. However, the entire time I was there, they only cleaned the room once and then they told me that I had to ask to have the room cleaned and they should’ve told me that right when I checked in other than that, it was great.

I recently stayed at CoolDocks in Rotterdam and had a really enjoyable time. It’s a relatively new, modern hostel right in the heart of the city, which makes it super convenient for exploring the main sights, nightlife, shops and cafés, all within walking distance.

Friendly staff, but bring your eye mask as the dorm lights seem to stay on all night (couldn’t see any light switches and the windows aren’t covered).
The charging socket is at the foot end of the bed, which is an odd choice. The toilets were dirty and the shower barely became lukewarm. Overall it’ll do for a night if you’re on a budget but a few things could be improved.

Ottimo Good hostel - good value. Spartan kitchen and could do with a bit more in the way of staff/cleaners, but it was a clean, decent space with comfy beds and a nice friendly vibe.

Fantastico The hostel was very clean and well maintained. Rooms were tidy, bathrooms were regularly cleaned, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. A great stay overall.

I was quite amazed how good the hostel was, as I did not expect much for the price I paid. This is a brand newly opened hostel, so the rooms are really like pictures! Showers and toilets are clean enough. They have an elevator from the reception, first few steps to reception are stairs only. Downstairs there is a communal place with shared kitchen, simple but effective for a quick meal.

The hostel is clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The only problem is the kitchenette which is too small and almost always has a line of guests waiting to use it.
