The overall hotel wasn’t very clean and when we got to the room it wasn’t that clean either. The housekeeping staff over the weekend were very friendly and helpful, the front desk, not so much.

Al di sotto della media Dirty, terrible neighborhood, walls and floors are digusting. I can’t believe a 5-year old hotel can be so won down. The front desk person at check-in was very pleasant. I booked this due to a cancellation for a connecting flight- expedia listed it as having a shuttle. No shuttle. This cost is almost $100 round trip to get to and from the airport. Just pay another $100 and stay somewhere that isn’t a dump. The morning front desk guy sat there when there was no coffee in the dispenser, trash filled to the brim in the basket. He tried to get us a car service after our Yellow Cab was taking forever. The driver lied to him and said it would take 5-10 min. After 10 he said 8 more minutes. We cancelled it and got an Uber in 1 min.
There were s*x workers coming out of the building in droves too. If I were the company, I would rethink keeping this place open.

Really excellent location, just a few minutes walking to the Jamaica Station to catch either the LIRR or Subway. Super friendly staff and very convenient check-in. The property is clean and modern. The room was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep.

Great price compared to other hotels near JFK airport. No shuttle, but the AirTrain is only a few blocks away.

We booked this hotel last minute due to an unforeseen layover. The pictures and reviews online gave the impression that it was pretty good for the price. Our experience was anything but. When we arrived, there were 4 guests ahead of us. There was a woman in the lobby, very clearly high on drugs that was accosting everyone waiting for check-in. The front desk worker seemed to know her but only spoke to her twice (in the 20-25 min it took to get us checked in) and it was shocking that the police weren't called. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable and it appeared the others in line did as well. When it finally became our turn to check in, the lady behind the counter was quite curt and not friendly at all. We made it to our room and when we exited the elevator we heard people screaming in one room and a tv blasting in another. We entered our actual room and immediately were debating going back to sleep on the airport floor. The shower had pubic hair in it, the toilet was up and taped together, the floor was not vacuumed and everything looked very unsanitary. The next door guest had their tv up so loud, that we had to put ours on just to try to drown theirs out. We spent the night fully clothed on a travel blanket because we didn't want to touch anything. We checked out at 5am and when we had gone down to the lobby, there were coffee packets all over the floor from the lady on drugs and no one had bothered to pick them up. Any good reviews on this place has to be a BOT.
