Convenient location to the D Day beaches. Rustic charm with a very ample breakfast. My daughter accidentally left her Apple Watch and Corinne sent us a message right away. Vincent and Corinne were very attentive and helpful.

totally fantastic stay at this absolutely gorgeous property. the welcome was warm, the room comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the property grounds and views amazing. the breakfast was amazing - the best we had on our trip through Normandy. everything was delicious and fresh. definitely recommend staying here, it was positively enchanting.

This property was absolutely beautiful and quaint. We stayed in the Catherine suite which had its own private green room. It was a real treat! I enjoyed listening to the rain and sipping tea in the early morning in the green room. Our shower was fantastic and the bathroom was newly remodeled. The property has a lot of history and preserves the charm of a real French country Chateau. The grounds are gorgeous and our hosts allowed us to spend the evening exploring the park and fruit orchard. Breakfast was great, it included the best apple juice I’ve ever had (because the best apples grow in this region) crepes, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, meats, cheeses, fruits, croissants, breads, etc. The experience of staying in a Chateau that once belong to a Marquis and has so much history, with such beautiful grounds, is so much better than any hotel. We loved our stay, and the hosts work hard to make it comfortable and welcoming. Merci!

Fantastic hosts and beautiful French chateau.

This is a wonderful gem! The old character was just what I hoped for and more! The grounds were relaxing, especially the orchard. The history book in the room was fun to read. Home cooked breakfast was top notch and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. We felt welcomed and at home, I’ll definitely be back if I’m in Bayeux again!

Very handy location on the edge of Bayeux with easy parking. The chateau has been nicely restored and an interesting guide to it's history is provided in the bedroom. Nice grounds with shady areas to sit and relax. Great choice for a plentiful breakfast. The crepes were lovely.

Vincent was incredible…the property and our room were amazing and was better than expected from photos and other reviews. My wife loved the surprise, and I would highly recommend!!!

Driving up to the historic Chateaux Damigny, with roses blooming along the path, I knew our stay was going to be wonderful. We were immediately greeted by the proprietor Vincent and his wife Corinne. Our suite was well appointed and very spacious with beautiful furnishings. In addition to the huge bedroom with seating around the fireplace and TV, we had our very own sunroom overlooking the fountain and the rest of the property. It was divine. Since we arrived late we had ordered a “cold plate” and the table was set with a feast of meats, seafood, bread, cheeses, and apple pie, all beyond our expectations. We enjoyed reading about the history of the chateaux and then walking the grounds. Last but not least, the breakfasts were fabulous, more like a brunch, in my view, with everything from fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, cheese, saucions, breads and croissants to home made crepes and eggs to order. Great coffee and a nice selection of teas as well. After long days of sightseeing, it was so nice to retreat to our lovely suite at the chateaux.

Vincent, our host, was phenomenal. He put on huge breakfasts every morning and offered anything you could want. One morning when we were the last guests he sat with us and we had a wonderful chat. The chateau is beautiful and we had a huge suite. The grounds are also very well kept and so nice to hear birds singing. Only a 10 minute drive to Bayeux which is a nice town. Recommend highly and would definitely stay there again. Merci Vincent!

The chateau is located in a farming community. It is charming, inside & out-after all it's very old & has a lot of history. It is clean, rooms are spacious & have a private bathroom. The owners are very nice & welcoming. They gave us restaraunt suggestions for dinner in Bayeax (a charming city as well). They serve a great homemade breakfast. If you leave hungry, that's your fault. There is plenty of parking space. We would stay there again!
