Staff were very helpful. Ordering food from the restaurant was very smooth. Came right to our room door. Great room and living area, full size kitchen was a great surprise. We didn't even need the air conditioning at times. Fresh air from the river kept the place cool. Will be back again.

This place was impressively clean. The staff very friendly Ask and Ms. Cynthia to connect you with Original Gregory if you need a local guide.
The Chinese food restaurant was slightly overrated but still good, and the portions huge.
The only issues overall, and I’m not taking a star away because of them: no hot water to the sink- so I had to shave using the shower water. The sliding door to room 104 cannot be locked from the outside, and the balcony can be easily accessed even if you deadbolt the front door. It makes it feel unsafe to leave belongings in this room specifically. Oh and the in room safe was broken, making matters a little worse in that regard.

Construction was going on. Food was good at the restaurant. Valda was super helpful!! The bed was comfortable. AC and frig were not on upon our arrival so it was steamy hot!

Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us since we woke up early. Staff was really nice with easy check in and out!

Very spacious. I had a large room with separate kitchen and living.
Property under rennovation but the face lift promises to be good. The staff and management are super friendly and accommodating.
I have no hesitation staying again.

Firstly I wasn’t informed before that they would have construction working going on, if I knew this I would have picked a different hotel. The work would normally start around 6:30am. Which is insane if you have guests.
The railing on the balcony was rotting with holes. Very unsafe.
The balcony doors didn’t lock, I was told they do lock but it’s complicated. It shouldn’t be complicated to lock a sliding door.
Not been offered a refund for compensation, but a ONE night free stay, will not be going back to this danger zone.
I deserve to be compensated for a hazardous stay

Absolutely lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless clean and tidy.There was everything in your room you need for the comfortable stay. Good breakfast and not overpriced.

Fantastico I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture .

I like the chill and quiteness.
I dont likebhow earlyvthe restuarant closed...there is a river to close to not for the hotel to not male it attractive to guest...
