This hotel would definitely suit some people but it wasn’t the best for me.
Positives:
Location is fantastic.
Staff are really friendly and helpful
Some of the staff speak excellent English.
The views are fantastic.
Negatives:
Biggest con for me was that all of the rooms have beach facing windows and unfortunately the full block out curtains let LOTS of light in from the sides.
Our room was well and truly overdue for refurbishing. Not all rooms are like this, the staff did show me another room and this looked to be SIGNIFICANTLY better, but our room had:
Creaking swollen floor boards, clogged showers, missing furniture, a fridge that didn’t fit into the fridge space
We booked a 2 brm suite, but nowhere to keep dishes/ eat or anything like that. There was a sofa and a coffee table, but not what I expected.
Most the washed towels/ linens looked black and had holes etc
Breakfast had lots of selections but we didn’t really like anything. Staff were kind enough to warm up food we took in etc.
