2D1N Mt. Pulag Hike
Chill hike? Mt. Pulag is a best weekend getaway and escape from your busy life. You will also experience a freezing temperature of 5°C and it can get even lower.
- Mt. Pulag is the third highest mountain in the Philippines and the highest peak in the whole of Luzon with an elevation of 2,922 meters above sea level.
- It houses a large diversity of flora and fauna and threatened mammals such as the Philippine Brown Deer, Northern Luzon Giant Cloud Rat and the Luzon Pygmy Fruit Bat.
- There are several orchid species some of which are possibly endemic to Mt. Pulag, and other rare flora such as the pitcher plant.

Cosa aspettarsi
Day 1 starts with a trip from Baguio City to DENR station for an orientation. While going there, we may have a side trip at Ambuklao Dam.
After the orientation, we will proceed to set up camp at Mt. Pulag Ranger Station, 30 minutes away from DENR station. Then campers may indulge themselves in the community. We will close the day with a bonfire dinner.
Day 2 starts at 1AM. We will hike from jumpoff to Mt. Pulag for approximately 1 hour, from Camp 1 to Camp 2 at approx 2 hours, and from Camp 2 to summit at for another 2 hours.
When at the summit, you may start roaming around the area and indulge with the different species plants and the wildlife. Sunrise and the sea of cliuds are also two of the best views.
