On this full day Mt Cook Tour from Queenstown (12-hours) you’ll experience the unique alpine landscapes of the Southern Alps as you travel with us from Queenstown through Mackenzie Country and into Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, home to snow-capped mountains, impressive glaciers and New Zealand’s highest peak, Aoraki Mt Cook (‘Cloud Piercer’).
Departing from Queenstown at 7.30am, travel in comfort and style in a Mercedes van fully equipped with panoramic windows for superior sightseeing. Stop enroute at locations such as Cromwell, The LIndis, Omarama, Lake Pukaki and the Twizel Salmon Farm.
We enter Mt Cook Village at approx. 11:30am and enjoy free time to explore the local surroundings. Take a walk to Lake Mueller for a close-up view of Mt Sefton’s glaciers or take the chance to experience one of the incredible activities Mt Cook has to offer.
