If you’ve only got one day to explore the beautiful Phi Phi Island, this full day excursion covers all the must-see sites. Visit Shark Point, Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island, Monkey Beach, Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Bay, and Maya Bay. You’ll also get to see the amazing sunset views to end the day.
Our first stop is Shark Point. Named after the black-tipped sharks swimming in the area, Shark Point is a popular snorkeling spot among professional and amateur divers.
Our next stop is Bamboo Island, a pristine strip of land great for relaxing and snorkeling. Wade in the shallow waters and catch glimpses of the colorful fishes or lie down by the shore and soak up the sun before we climb aboard the boat and head to our next stop.
Take in the glorious limestone cliffs and azure waters at Mosquito Island, or Koh Yung. Don’t let its name worry you; the insects only come out in the evening. What you can look forward to are the spectacular rock formations, small quiet beaches and clear water for snorkeling.
We’ll head to Nui Bay next. This tiny little alcove surrounded by rock formations is a picturesque spot to relax and swim in. Then we’ll make our way to Monkey Beach to visit the friendly primates – but don’t get too close! We’ll also stop by Viking Cave, known for the Scandinavian-esque ships painted on its walls, and Pileh Lagoon, another stunning locale with emerald waters and towering cliffs.
Next, we’ll head to Loh Samah Bay where we’ll dive into the cool waters and swim with the colorful fish. After spending most of the afternoon in the water, we’ll board the boat and make our way to the famous Maya Bay, known for its appearance in the 1999 film The Beach. We’ll circle the scenic bay, taking in the gorgeous scenery and watching the sunset, before making our way back.

Optiamo per il tour privato per una maggiore flessibilità. Il tour è buono ma purtroppo non siamo andati a Mosquito Island perché era chiusa da 5 anni fa, come menzionato dal nostro capitano della barca, il signor Rob, ma stranamente era inclusa nel pacchetto. Inoltre, non siamo andati alla Maya Bay Beach, come è stato anche detto chiuso, anche se doveva essere il momento clou del nostro tour. Siamo andati a baia invece di scattare alcune foto. Nel complesso il viaggio è comunque piacevole, ma sarebbe stato fantastico se avessimo fatto tutto compreso come indicato nelle descrizioni dei pacchetti. Le descrizioni non hanno nemmeno menzionato che dobbiamo pagare un biglietto d'ingresso extra di 200 THB per l'isola di Phi Phi Leh. Ha menzionato solo circa 400 THB per il biglietto d'ingresso a Maya Bay. Ad ogni modo, siamo grati a Trip.guru per il regolare svolgimento del tour. Consiglio comunque questo tour ad altri, ma per favore aggiorna il pacchetto del tour incluso in quanto potrebbe infrangere le aspettative di qualcuno o sorprese indesiderate in seguito. Grazie
Abbiamo avuto il piacere di fare un giro in barca a coda lunga guidato e capitanato da Rob. Il tempo era davvero brutto il giorno del tour. Ma Rob si è preso cura di noi navigando lentamente e con costanza, il che ci ha aiutato a non avere il mal di mare. La sua comunicazione confortante e l'esperienza esperta ci aiutano ad arrivare a riva senza alcun problema. Grida a Rob. "Niente più onda, yayy"!!! Questo è il suo modo di confortarci e assicurarci che non ci sarà più un'onda in arrivo.
Privato e puoi andare dove vuoi - pianifica con l'autista della barca .. tutto così amichevole e piacevole giornata in barca e nuota e fai snorkeling ... adoro l'isola di Phi Phi ma devi prenotare il tuo motoscafo o traghetto in anticipo e terminare alle 14:00 in barca per ultimo il motoscafo è alle 15:00.
