Make your way to a couple of workshops in the city that practices traditional arts like wood carving, tapestry making, and robe tailoring. Here you will marvel at how the skilled workers pound gold ingots into thin sheets of gold leaves, before they are used in the monasteries! Take a breather and enjoy a quick lunch break, at your own expense, then continue the tour with a stop at the Royal Palace, filled with ancient artifacts and life-sized statues of King Mindon Min and King Thibaw Min.
