  • Eating and drinking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited
  • The Flam Railway is available all year with several daily departures. Please refer to the timetable for departure times
  • Audio guiding is available on LCD screens and audio on the train. Please enter your nationality at the checkout page so the operator may be able to provide your language onboard the train
  • Round trip ticket holders are recommended to use the luggage storage (NOK70/piece) at the Flåm Train Station, to be paid by card at the storage building upon luggage drop off
  • Please note for roundtrip tickets: The return leg of the journey will be automatically selected for the next departing train after your arrival at Myrdal Station
  • Failure to arrive at your selected timeslots will cause your slot to be forfeited and no refunds or rescheduling will be given
  • This vehicle is stroller and wheelchair-accessible

Insider Tips:

  • Kjosfossen is an enormous waterfall between Flam and Myrdal, and can only be reached by The Flam Railway. There will be a 5 minute stop at Kjosfossen - the perfect opportunity to capture the beauty of this majestic waterfall
  • During the high season, you may also be able to see the ‘Huldra’ dance performance at the waterfall
