Crociera sul fiume Klias per vedere le scimmie proboscidate e le lucciole (tour completamente guidato)

Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo in questo tour! Siamo stati così fortunati ad aver avvistato 3 diverse specie di scimmie, martin pescatori e un cucciolo di coccodrillo. La crociera notturna con le lucciole è stata anche molto rilassante e bellissima. Anche la cena era piuttosto buona. La nostra guida Jumaliah è la migliore! Ha superato ogni aspettativa.

Siamo stati fortunati ad aver incontrato due tipi di scimmie, il macaco dalla coda lunga e la nasica, anche se la nasica era un po' lontana dalla vista poiché spesso si arrampica in cima agli alberi. Siamo stati anche abbastanza fortunati da vedere il coccodrillo neonato, numerose specie di uccelli e persino un varano sdraiato su una palma da cocco! Il viaggio è stato così incredibile che non volevamo lasciare la barca! Vorremmo avere più tempo sul fiume! Speriamo anche che l'impermeabile possa essere incluso nel tour, dato che al nostro arrivo pioveva a dirotto e abbiamo dovuto comprare l'impermeabile dal negozio locale. Per quanto riguarda le altre strutture, come i servizi igienici, erano migliori del previsto. Il cibo non era male, anche se non c'era molta varietà. La guida turistica è stata discreta. Nel complesso, una buona giornata trascorsa nella campagna di Kota Kinabalu e lo consiglierei a chi ama stare a contatto con la natura e la fauna selvatica.

La guida turistica e autista Sulani si è impegnata molto a presentare diversi tipi di scimmie nella foresta pluviale, e ne abbiamo viste almeno tre tipi. Anche le lucciole scintillanti sulla riva del fiume di notte sono state un'esperienza che non avevamo mai provato prima!

The river cruise was awesome. Our guide, Ju, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, as was our boat captain Safar. The trip took us down the Klias River where we spotted, among other animals, long-tailed macaques, a river crocodile, and the charismatic probiscis monkeys. The captain spotted the animals from incredibly far away, and we got the chance to see them up close as he steered us towards the wildlife while keeping a safe distance. Dinner was, all things considered, pretty good -- we had a buffet of local dishes to choose from. After dusk, we went out for the night cruise where we saw the synchronized flashing of hundreds of fireflies. The experience was well-worth the 2 hour drive to and from Kota Kinabalu - a must-see if you're in the area.

there is a reason this is a top activity for kota kinabalu. You must choose this no regrets. You see three different types of monkeys, baby monitor lizards, kingfisher, baby crocodiles, a bunch of fireflies. monkeys live by river so they are guaranteed to be seen apparently. Fireflies hide if it rains. Nothing felt touristy except the waiting and food at the village. It would be stupid to miss out on this cruise.

This was truly one of the best tours I've taken in my life. We saw so many Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife. The tour was super well organized and everything ran on time and went to plan. The guide, Ju, was incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable about all of the wildlife. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

We had a very nice river ride to see the wildlifes especially the proboscis monkey. The tour guide and boat driver were helpful to point out the location where the monkeys hide. The afternoon tea and dinner were simple but good enough for us. We, include the kids, enjoy the trip a lot. Recommend for those who are planning to visit Sabah.

Il viaggio dal mio hotel a questo posto è durato quasi 3 ore (solo andata), ma ne è valsa la pena!!! Volevo vedere le scimmie nasiche dalla mia ultima visita in Sabah e finalmente le ho viste in natura. Anche la guida era gentile e competente. Siamo stati fortunati ad avvistare anche il langur argentato.

Nel complesso è stato un viaggio divertente e piacevole per noi. La nostra guida turistica è professionale e anche il cibo fornito è buono. Abbiamo avvistato 3 tipi di scimmie lì e ciò che ci ha sorpreso di più è stato avvistare un bucero, di cui il mio compagno è un grande fan. Consiglio vivamente di portare un telescopio o di noleggiarne uno anche lì.
