- ▶ In the 33rd year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi built a mansion here and gave it to his fourth son, Prince Yong, and called it Prince Yong's Mansion; in the 3rd year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign, the mansion was changed into a temporary palace, called Lama Temple; in the 9th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign, Lama Temple was changed into a Lama Temple, and the Minister of General Affairs was specially appointed to manage its affairs, and it became the center of the Qing government in charge of Tibetan Buddhism affairs across the country.

- ▶ Medicine Buddha Hall

- Commonly known as the "Four Learning Halls", in the Qing Dynasty, this was the teaching center of Lama Temple.
- ▶ Heavenly King Hall
- The Heavenly King Hall is the first hall of Lama Temple, also known as the Yonghe Gate, and was originally the main gate of Prince Yong's Mansion. The Maitreya Buddha is enshrined in the hall, which is a wood carving with gold. On both sides of the hall are the four heavenly kings with exquisite clay sculptures and paintings. On both sides of the altar in the hall are a pair of ancient bronze incense burners, which were used by the imperial palace during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. They are unique in appearance and exquisite in workmanship. They were given by the Empress Dowager Xiaoshengxian, the mother of Emperor Qianlong.
- ▶Yongyou Hall
- The Yongyou Hall now enshrines the Buddha of Infinite Life (Amitabha Buddha in Chinese Buddhism, the leader of the Western Paradise), the east side is the Eastern Pure Lapis Lazuli World, and the east side is the Lion Roar Buddha. In Buddhism, the Lion Roar Buddha is the Buddha statue after Manjusri Bodhisattva became a Buddha, and Tsongkhapa is the incarnation of Manjusri Bodhisattva
- ▶Jietai Tower, Zhaoren Hall, Tantric Hall, Maitreya Hall, Yonghemen Wanfu Pavilion is the fifth hall of Yonghe Palace. There are as many as 10,000 small Buddha statues enshrined on each floor of Wanfu Pavilion. "Buddha" and "blessing" sound similar, so it is named Wanfu Pavilion. The most eye-catching thing in the pavilion is the Maitreya statue carved from a whole piece of sandalwood. The precious wood was donated by seven generations. The Buddha is 26 meters tall, 18 meters above ground and 8 meters underground, with a diameter of 8 meters. It stands on a white marble Sumeru pedestal, holding a Hada in his hand, with a majestic figure.
