-Itinerary introduction- • Kawazu Sakura Festival (cherry blossom season: early February to late February) The Kawazu Sakura Festival is the earliest cherry blossom festival in East Japan. The cherry blossoms bloom earlier and become an event that many cherry blossom fans look forward to every year. The Kawazu Sakura trees stretch for about 4 kilometers along the Kawazu River, forming a magnificent cherry blossom tunnel. Food stalls line the streets along the river, where you can also buy local handicrafts and souvenirs.
• Nihondaira Ropeway & Kunoyama Toshogu Shrine Toshogu Shrine, one of the oldest in Japan, is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu. In the shrine museum, you can take a look at the swords, armor and daily items used by the man who unified Japan. The shrine architecture is full of gorgeous Momoyama style, and the exquisite decoration of red and gold is amazing.
• Suruga Bay Boat Cruise Looking at the majestic Mount Fuji from the vast sea of Suruga Bay, the sea and sky contrast with Mount Fuji in the distance, forming a perfect picture. In addition, looking at Mount Fuji during the Japanese New Year also means seeking good luck, and it is also a paradise for photographers.
• Mount Omuro Ropeway Mount Omuro is not only the symbol of the Izu Peninsula, but also designated as a “National Natural Monument”. It is a dormant volcano about 580 meters high and was selected as one of the “Eight Scenic Spots of Ito”.
• All you can eat sweet strawberries We provide sweet and sour strawberries from the warm climate of Shizuoka, allowing guests to pick the delicious seasonal strawberries and enjoy them with rich condensed milk.
