  • The Water Great Wall is located in Huanghuacheng, Huairou, Beijing. It was named because the water level rose during the construction of the reservoir, which submerged a section of the Great Wall, thus forming the unique landscape of "playing in the water at the Great Wall".
  • In midsummer, Huanghuacheng, where the Water Great Wall is located, has large patches of yellow wildflowers blooming, making it a good place to take photos of summer flowers.
  • There are three must-see views of the Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall: “The first unique view” is that the Great Wall built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty surrounds the mountain ridge and the lake, with beautiful and spectacular scenery; “The second unique view” is that the lake breaks the Great Wall, forming a unique landscape of playing in the water at the Great Wall; “The third unique view” is the chestnut garden of the Ming Dynasty, with ancient trees intertwined and in various shapes.
