Explore the sights around Saipan's shores on this two hour guided tour that lets you visit some of its historic spots. Starting with a pickup right from your hotel, you will first head to The Last Command Post Park, which featured in the Battle of Saipan during World War II. You'll learn about the deep, tragic history of the park, where the last days of the battles in the Pacific reached their end. Following this, you'll depart for Bird Island, which can be seen from above, but is much more worthwhile being visited on foot. A well known destination for tourists, the place is aptly named for thousands of birds that reside within it, in a myriad of local species. Then it's off to the Grotto, one of the most scenic areas in Saipan, which is famous as one of the top scuba diving areas in the world. Its clear waters beneath a natural “skylight” of rocks attracts tourists from all over the world, urging them to dive into this gorgeous swimming hole. Your last stop is at historic Banzai Cliff, named after the tragic events that took place upon it during the war as well, and is a beautiful place to capture panoramas of the shore. Your tour ends with a return transfer safely back to your hotel.

Sono andato alla maggior parte dei posti di blocco nel nord di Saipan. Bird Island dove vedi strati di colori del mare. L'ultimo posto di comando per conoscere la storia. Banzai Cliff per ricordare la morte dei soldati giapponesi. La Grotta è super affollata, non posso davvero vedere molto se non fai immersioni subacquee lì perché la luce blu è il principale punto di attrazione.

Va bene per coloro che non hanno un autobus o un'auto a guida autonoma (io), soprattutto guardando Bird Island e Longevity Cliff, l'infinito Oceano Pacifico e l'acqua del mare è di un blu super scuro.
In realtà, l'intera attività non richiede necessariamente due ore intere, poiché le attrazioni non sono distanti l'una dall'altra. L'auto è confortevole e l'autista spiega anche alcune storie sui luoghi di interesse. Inoltre, si consiglia di indicare nella descrizione del tour KLOOK che per visitare la "Grotta Azzurra" bisogna scendere più di cento gradini, poiché non tutti potrebbero accettarlo, e scoprirlo solo una volta arrivati potrebbe spaventare.
