What a gem this place is! We stayed here for one night on our way to Rome and wished we'd stayed longer. It is restful, quiet, and a quintessential Umbrian village. Orvieto is a quick 10-15 minute drive. Room 4 was wonderful, spacious, spectacular view, incredibly comfortable bed and the best air conditioning and shower! on-site breakfast was lovely with tarts and cakes made from scratch by the breakfast hostess. We HIGHLY recommend this place!

We loved the setting and ambience. Towel service and the quality of the towels could be improved. It was a surprise to us that 2 of our 8 nights we couldn’t park in the lot because of community events. This could have been better communicated.

What a stunning spot to view the rolling countryside full of vineyards and olive groves. Well appointed, spacious room with a super comfy bed and pillows, kettle, large bathroom and picturesque views from the window. A delicious breakfast with house made coffee and the host, Helena, really goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot, lovely room, very well maintained and clean with stunning views. The staff were incredibly helpful, including picking me up in Orvieto when I couldn’t get back because there were no taxis. Lovely spot would definitely come again.

What a beautiful gem. This resort type setting is in a beautiful serene location within hills overlooking Orvieto. We loved our stay and even extended it. Staff was wonderful with a very nice room to stay in. We will be back and recommend to friends.

Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses. Awesome place organized with very nice selection of furniture and modern amenities. The place and the service are really lovely.

This little gem is absolutely WAY more than described! It’s in a little very picturesque village, can be seen from a distance away which is fun to see while driving to get there. The owner couple were WAY above and beyond kind, friendly, giving of their time and energy to suggest many great places and encouraged their views and garden and walks around their place that beautiful! The rooms were exceptional! He is a great designer or modern,old,new and brand name quality..linen sheet, room scent, coffee maker in room and small refrigerator, room safe, fantastic layout of room with comfy bed and leather couch. Personal robe and slippers, private entry yet main lobby (which is open early for a great breakfast with options and coffee etc or open late if wanted to stop by). We had coffee and wine there also without having to leave for one and chatted with them as they were a great couple/host. Spa closed for the week we were there so we missed that but it looks super nice.

After a month of traveling throughout Italy, our stay at Misia Country Resort stands out as one of the absolute best. Seriously, this place is not to be missed. Our experience here was far above expectation. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the property conditions and facilities were truly first-rate—everything was perfect, well-maintained, and comfortable. The Unmissable Hike and View While the hotel is a destination in itself, there is one experience here that is an absolute must-do: the hike up the nearby hill. Don't let the incline put you off! It's a relatively short but rewarding climb that takes you through a winding stone path flanked by incredible rose bushes. Once you reach the top, the reward is an utterly breathtaking panoramic view. You get a spectacular perspective of the entire Tuscan valley spread out below you. Go just before sunset if you can; the light is pure magic. It's the kind of view that will stick with you long after you've left. We highly recommend Misia Country Resort to friends and family—it was one of the highlights of our entire Italian journey!
