This is a palace converted into a luxury hotel. It is stunning in every aspect. The pool is beautiful as are the restaurants and bar. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Even aside from the whole palace aspect, this was an immaculate hotel with wonderful staff and an exceptional emphasis on cleanliness. The housekeeping staff definitely deserve recognition and praise. A good location to boot. My only complaint is a minor one: the fresh orange juice at breakfast was so bland it was perhaps the only time I have tasted something that tasted negatively on the sweetness scale. A fascinating but disappointing experience in an otherwise amazing stay. Would stay again.

Amazing place to stay with a beautiful property.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, with the exception of the bar staff. One out of four of the staff knew what they were doing and he wasn’t there every night! The service was extremely slow.

My husband and I absolutely loved everything during our stay at the Pestana Palace. The decor was incredible with the painted ceilings and lavish architectural detailing. This historic property was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was styled after Versailles in France. We loved the morning room with the incredible buffet breakfasts and the lovely teahouse restaurant set in the gardens and the amazing piano bar area. The staff were so funny and friendly giving us so many tips on local places to go and eat or visit. They really made our stay extra special. Always greeting us with warm smiles and taking the time to really chat with us made us feel like we were visiting family and really being taken care of. I loved the location of the hotel. It was set in a historic residential area nice and quiet which made evening walks after a busy day of sightseeing nice and relaxing. It was a 20 minute walk downhill to Belum Tower area and the delicious Patisseur de Belum for the best custard tarts in Lisbon and only a short inexpensive (5 euro) Uber ride to downtown Lisbon. We will definately be including Pestana Palace on any return visits to Lisbon!💕💕💕

Beautiful place

Property is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The location is quiet and safe. Breakfast buffet has multiple choices and everyday is a little bit different. All the staffs are kind and have smile. I would highly recommend this hotel.
