Luar Biasa It was walkable from the train station. They held our luggage after checking out so we could see the sights before hopping on another train

Sangat Baik The staff were very helpful with our luggage. We left it with the hotel as we took a couple side trips.
We would recommend this hotel. It is quite close to the train station and the bus station.

Great location and staff... My small room is perfect for a solo traveler... very clean and breakfast was top shelf but extra.
No elevator or AC, which was no big deal for me but keep that in mind if those are things you need.

Luar Biasa Outstanding staff, welcoming, informative. Lovely historic property convenient to National Portrait Gallery, St. James and Waverly Station. Delicious breakfast options with buffet and cooked choices. Very nice bar.

The room was up 3 flights of stairs and although we were offered a hand with our bags, I wish I had known that I had to be able to go up 70 steps. The room was small but the bed was very small for 2, there was a fan but the window did not open very far so getting air into a hot room was difficult - I am afraid although a nice bar, nice staff and a clean centrally located hotel - I will not use again

When advised the breakfast only included 1 hot item, I did not even consider purchasing it when I could go across the road and get a full scottish breakfast for even less.
Bar closed at 11pm which I thought was eat for an Edinburgh City Centre hotel and also didn't have a tv for watching any sport/football etc apart from the one on the terrace, but due to a private function, wasn't available.
