Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur offers the appearance of luxury, but the experience does not fully live up to it. The biggest issue was check-in. Despite the official 3:00 PM timing, we only received our room at 7:00 PM after a long wait at reception. This was not a one-off incident, there were long queues daily, suggesting a systemic issue. While a RM200 credit was offered, it missed the point. Guests at this price point expect efficiency and a seamless experience, not compensation for poor processes. There are positives. The room was comfortable, and the view was fantastic. However, housekeeping fell short, there were visible lapses such as strands of hair left on the bathroom floor. Overall, while the hotel delivers on aesthetics, the service standards -especially at reception and in housekeeping do not match expectations of a luxury brand. It feels like luxury in packaging, but not in execution.

It was a good hotel with a bridge connected to Pavillion Mall which is 10 min walk. We found out next day, wish they had told us at check in would have saved us getting a grab taxi. Would have given 5* but the breakfast was average not brilliant as other 5* hotels I’ve been to and the staff were slow in clearing plates. Swimming pool area was good but the padded seats were marked couldn’t sit without a towel. No shaving kit provided in the room and sheets only get refreshed every 3 days. Very busy hotel, great location.

If you’re considering a stay here, please go ahead and book it! We had the most wonderful time. The view from the lobby is exceptional. The pool, the spa and in room dining were all fantastic

Excellence: for me, this is the best more beautiful city hotel in the world! Bedrooms are wonderful, breakfast is perfect and the stall is prodigious. 6 stars Go to have a drink in front of the petronas towers!!!!
