Hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful.
The rooms are small but that is to be expected being in a central location. The bed was comfortable. I don’t really have anything bad to say- but didn’t feel 5 stars. A solid choice for the area.
Side note.. best stroop waffles are across the street.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean, although we did not have a closet, we had a rack to hang clothes which was sufficient for our needs. The location was convenient to walk to wherever we needed to go. I would go back!

We stayed in the junior suite which was quite dark and hard to find as it was in a separate building. Just one window and minimal lighting. Towels were thin but the bed was comfortable with good pillows. It overlooked a busy street and the A/C sounded a bit like a washing machine. Great location.

Excellent stay and fantastic location! A short 10 minute walk to train station, Amsterdam Central. We walked everywhere and no problem! Anne Frank house, 10 minutes & Van Gogh museum, 28 minutes. Loved the location!

Bed was comfortable. Rooms were nice, not a lot of room for luggage.
Shower could use a non slip mat.

Great location and clean comfortable room. Excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner, but very busy so get there early or make a reservation. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very centrally located. The Tram stop is basically in front of the hotel which is excellent for getting around the city. Staff were very polite. Found the room quite small and it could use some updating. Otherwise lovely stay.

Luar Biasa We stayed in the Junior suite with a queen bed and it was immaculate. The bathroom looked like it was new or just remodeled it was spotless. The view from our room 325 was fantastic overlooking Dam Square although the sound of the tram cars on the tracks lasted to midnight and could be a little botherrsome at times it was still soft enough to sleep. A wonderful room all in all.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. We would definitely go back and would request the same room. The hotel is in an amazing district that is extremely walkable to shops, cafes, canals, cultural sites and all the historic beauty of Amsterdam. Looking out our window at night time was like looking at a fairy tale scene with the church and shops lit up. Our room and the hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
I look forward to visiting Amsterdam again and would happily return to Die Port van Cleve hotel, no hesitations.
