The location is perfect. It’s definitely an older property, but the bathrooms are updated and the staff were excellent.

The Grand Hotel Duchi d'Aosta is the epitome of what a small luxury five star hotel should be. All the staff were committed to ensuring we had a very pleasant staff. Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. The restaurant is top class, Michelin starred cuisine, and the food has an excellent range of dishes. The spa provides a beautiful swimming pool in the basement and the massages both myself and my wife received were very professional and beneficial. The site of the hotel right in the heart of Trieste make it an absolutely perfect destination for a holiday or short stay.

The property is nice and very well located. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem is checking in, it is a huge pain in the neck. They don't allow in person check in and require everything on a cell phone. Even doing it on a computer is not easy.

Friendly staff at a perfect location

Wonderful boutique hotel. Reception staff were discreet but very helpful when engaged. Elegant breakfast included. Our suite seemed a little dated with carpeting and older feel but was comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand was big and modern. Amazing location as well. I would definitely return but would ensure to get one of the more updated rooms. The estate prosecco and macarons were an elegant touch.
