The Hotel d' Amphitheatre is in the perfect location in Nimes. Our 3 night stay was just what we needed and the breakfasts were excellent. It's an easy walk from the railway station, close to sites, restaurants, bars and shops. The building is old and does not have a lift but Olivier was always happy to help carrying bags to and from rooms. Nimes was our favourite place during our recent trip through France. We look forward to visiting again and will definitely stay at Hotel d' Amphitheatre.

The host was absolutely amazing and wen above and beyond our expectations. He was able to check in us earlier and made sure we felt very welcomed and looked after. Indeed an amazing experience. Hotel is located in a historical building and has its charm. Something definitely worth trying. Location is absolutely fabulous.

A very central hotel led by two lovely twin brothers. One of the brothers makes excellent scrambled eggs! I highly recommend this property for location, cleanliness, good quality rooms and friendly staff. A must when going to stay in Nimes.

The proprietors were very welcoming and gracious. The breakfasr was outstanding with eggs, ham, excellent bread, yogurt, cereal, fruits, jams, good coffee and tea. The bedoom was large and well-appointed and the bathroom was large with a nice bathtub.Close to the Roman amphitheatre and other attractions. Shopping was nearby. Highly recommended.

Location great, staff lovely and room awesome

Excellent and welcoming staff. Very good location. The only drawbacks were: the washroom- Very high and slippery tub. Could have used a grab bar for safety. And a small console with drawers wold make fôr a more comfortable room.

Lovely, warm welcome and help with recommendations of places to eat. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants and bars, and also to the amphitheatre, which is definitely worth a visit. Nimes is a beautiful place and we're looking forward to a return trip.

We were given a room with no shower, only a tub with no curtain. Water went all over the floor. Hot water was either way too hot or way too cold.
