We had a great stay overall—I'd say 90% of the experience was excellent. The hotel is in a fantastic location, the facilities are great, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.
The only disappointment was the food. The poolside snacks were quite bland, and when I mentioned that the rice wasn't up to standard, I was surprised to end up in an argument with the server rather than having my concerns acknowledged. That could definitely have been handled better.
That said, don't let this put you off. It was a small negative in what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay. I'd happily return for the location, amenities, and overall experience.
