This is a multi room homestay in the Hoa Lu area of Ninh Binh. The rooms were clean and updated, beds on the harder side (pretty typical for Asia) and had AC, fan, mini-frudge, hair dryer. Coffee available first two nights then fell off as we did not have our room made up. Hot water is so-so depending on rest of usage in the building again, typical for this kind of accommodation.
Is run by a family that is very sweet and friendly, helpful in getting around. Bikes for free (what you get is what you pay for!) and rental scooters. All the beverages are honor system, pay at the end. Used the pool once was clean and nice to chill on the patio in the sun. Appreciated their flexibility in letting us stay for our last day (with small fee) so we weren't stranded all day before a 10 pm train.
