I arrived at Mexico City Airport after 1:00 a.m., and the shuttle service to Terminal 2 was no longer available. Since I had to get to Terminal 1 and was traveling with a lot of luggage, I had no choice but to take a taxi, which cost me USD 16. Considering that your hotel is located very close to the airport, this was already an inconvenience.
I appreciated being allowed to check in before the official 3:00 p.m. check-in time. However, the room I was initially assigned had not been cleaned. I had to return to the front desk and request another room, which was very inconvenient.
The hotel itself is extremely outdated and had an unpleasant odor. Although the replacement room was clean, it was old, damp, and not comfortable.
The following day, when I checked out, the bellboy did not assist me with my luggage. I was also told that I would have to wait about 20 minutes for the airport shuttle. Since I was informed that the hotel operated its own taxi service, I decided to use it instead. However, upon arriving at the airport, the driver demanded USD 25 for the short trip. I complained because I had paid only USD 16 for the same route the previous day. After my complaint, the fare was suddenly reduced to USD 20.
I found this experience both shocking and extremely disappointing. It gave me the impression that I was being overcharged simply because I was a hotel guest. I expected honest, transparent, and professional service, but unfortunately my experience was the opposite.
