Couple on vacation, 3 Nights in Montreux. Great location on Lake Geneva, paid up for a corner unit directly on the water. Breakfast was not cheap (30 CHF), but was IMO worth the money, with assortment of meats, cheeses, made to order eggs, etc. Property is 5 min. from the train station, and bus stops a block away, so very easy access. Area felt very safe to us, would stay again. Note that the property is typical European, but had all we needed and was clean and fairly well maintained.

The only issue is trying to bring luggage into the hotel. The front desk is up stairs, no elevator. However, this location is fabulous. Would certainly come again.

I would not recommend this hotel. During our stay in May 2026, the sofa bed in our room collapsed in the middle of the night while my son was sleeping on it under normal use. This created a serious safety concern and significantly disrupted our stay. Photos of the broken sofa bed are attached. The hotel acknowledged the incident and agreed to provide CHF 150 in compensation. Because the reservation was made through Expedia, the hotel stated that it could not refund my credit card directly and requested my banking information instead, which I promptly provided. More than three weeks passed without any payment despite multiple follow-up emails. Management repeatedly indicated that the compensation would be processed, yet no payment was received and communication became increasingly limited. I ultimately obtained a refund through Expedia. Had the hotel informed me from the beginning that Expedia was the appropriate channel for resolving the matter, it would have saved weeks of unnecessary waiting and repeated follow-up requests. The hotel did not respond to my emails at the end. Problems can happen at any hotel, but clear communication and follow-through are important. Based on both the incident and the way it was handled afterward, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Both Aldriana and Taisiia at the front desk were very helpful and professional. Everyone else acted as if we were an interuption. Not good. The daily breakfast was good and the breakfast room staff was good, until our last morning (Sunday), the woman we delt with suddenly turned sour and argumentative.over a cup of coffee, unbelievable. The biggest debacle was laundry. No one tells you about the procedure at checked in, just that it’s free on the 8th floor. Beware: you need a special card, that of course they are out of. Worst experience ever, Although aMargot was helpful, I wasted hours and was truly frustrated, to make matters worse I requested to speak to the Manager, no response, no follow up, I figure this culture of bad service starts at the top: either the Manager couldn’t be bothered or was never informed, not good. Also every morning the water jug was empty, the trash overflowing and smelly. I won’t return.
