Before I write this review, I want to emphasize, I was here for 3 days and writing on June 2026. Please watch out for scams! The rooms are hot and the AC doesnt run without a card and they only give you 1 key which is Rs50000 (not free) so if you leave your room and come back wait for 2 hours for the AC to run well. At checkout they showed me a picture of an dirt mark on the sheet which was 1cm big (from my toddler) and they said they give us penalty of $20. I asked them, Did you wash your sheet and it didnt go and then you charge me? They said they dont wash them, they expect the guest keep everything clean. What a joke, we slept on dirty bedding for 3 days???? When I told then I am a lawyer and I will take them to court for this, they pleaded “okay okay no charge, no penalty for you”. Hahaha. What a huge scam. Never stepping back in, will not recommend to any foreign traveller who doesnt speak their language. If you have tolerance for scams that you barely escaped, youll probably give them a 3-4 stars. I am sorry but I dont. I see a scam, I report a scam. Hope a new traveller reads this and learns from our experience. Was ready to give them 4 stars until the checkout experience and learning that they dont clean sheets and will scam you for any dirt on the sheets BEFORE cleaning them (not after!!!!)

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, The swimming pool was a little colder than we are used to in Bali but great all the same. Good buffet breakfast with a huge variety and excellent quality.

Room was big, looks nice, clean, in great condition, we also enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good, pretty good option, the staff was nice, but sometimes they would take your plate very quickly...like my partner was holding last bite in his hand and they would be taking the plate...they always asked if he is done, but it felt bit awkward. Hotel is situated at big busy road, there are some restaurants and shops around. You can also walk to the beach and icon mall, it's pretty close but sidewalks are not in great condition and in the evening poorly lit. Also, they do not provide luggage storage after you check out.

Rooms were good size and clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The swimming pool was also very nice.

Had a brief 2 night stay before departing Bali. Great looking Hotel, both interior and exterior. We stayed in a pool access room. The room was large, clean, comfortable and very quiet. The pool was very nice, however, there were no actual steps from the room balcony into the pool so you simply sit and slide feet first into the pool, getting out is a bit of a problem if you are not all that mobile or strong in the upper Body as you have to haul yourself up over the side of the pool ( didn’t worry me but wife was not keen, as not really flattering, especially when you get older) but there are access stairs on the opposite side of the pool, which you can then walk back to your room. Breakfast was OK and included in nightly rate. The Hotel is located on a main road and it’s about a 15 min flat walk to Icon shopping centre and beach cafe walk. We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Palace Hotel and for the price it would be very hard to beat and I would be happy to stay here again

The Grand Palace Hotel was in a great location, great staff, and very well maintained.

Hotel was lovely, and the room was very spacious, plenty of room for 2 large cases. The bathroom and shower were very nice too. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and sent us extra water to our room when required for free. Water kept by the sink too. Breakfast was very nice and fresh, lots of different options. About a 10/15 minute walk to the beach/road with all the restaurants. Good location, set abit back but easy to get to.
