Easy to find. Easy check in process. Free parking although the parking for larger vehicles would be difficult. Excellent location. Convenient shopping options. Very close to the MCG (which is why we stayed in East Melbourne) and close to the CBD. The room, clean and tidy although there is a lot of ageing in the building itself and some of the room needs attention. Overall a good, safe place to stay.

The apartment was fairly old and quite basic . Bed was fine. The Carpet (floor carpet tiles) were not in good condition. Insufficient coffee, tea and sugar —— unless for only one night stay. However the apartment was located in excellent position for our needs.. Hosts were kind and friendly.

Rooms very outdated and need attention. I stayed here a few years ago and nothing at all has been updated or cared for. Lots of use of extension cords throughout room and walk ways causing tripping hazards and not safe for kids. Moved room due to broken tv but tv was broken in new room and so dirty covered in food and fingerprints. Heaters extremely outdated and don’t heat throughout. Minimal kitchen utensils and crockery, not set up for cooking at all. Main bed was so hard, pillows had to be used for cushioning. Sitting area seats are so uncomfortable and not able to sit on to enjoy area. Have stayed here a few times and although it’s cheap, uncomfortable living and staying now outweighs cost and is no longer worth staying here to save money as it’s so, so uncomfortable, old and outdated that you don’t get to rest or sleep at all. Will not be returning ever again and do not recommend. Itchy all night with bites - suspected bed bugs. People were nice but too much other stuff wrong. Dodgey wiring, remotes don’t work, tv don’t work, minimal recourses in room, furniture uncomfortable, asked to change room first night as no use of tv at all and told that there is nothing to be done - updated on second night - tv still not working correctly and room disgustedly dirty. Avoid at all costs!!!

It was cheap

Overall everything was fine but a couple of things need attention. The toaster wouldn't stay down, there was no tea towel in the kitchen and the hot water ran out really quickly.

A good location, the furnishings were poor though.

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The room was dirty, the heater didn’t work, the TV remote had no batteries, and many things were broken. It was also very noisy. On top of that, the receptionist was rude, unhelpful, and showed no interest in resolving my concerns. Overall, the place was poorly maintained, and I would not recommend it.

Basic accommodation, but very clean and very close to Epworth Freemasons Hospital. Liked that there was car parking included. Having a lift was a definite bonus.
