Sangat Baik This is a difficult review, as there is nothing poor to say about the Hotel. The location was great, the staff excellent, the breakfast brilliant. But our room was TINY! They did describe it as 'cosy', but that was being quite generous. If booking, don't fall into the same trap as us and make sure you don't reserve a 'cosy' room!

Baik The room and stay was good. The breakfast was excellent. I’d recommend this hotel IF you don’t mind have NO air conditioning and are a solid sleeper.
Pros
- Breakfast- we really enjoyed the breakfast
- Beds were comfy
- Staff was friendly
- Location! So close to everything and the train station
Cons
- No AC. I know this is standard in Switzerland.
- Loud!!! No AC = open windows on main road. The traffic was very LOUD and interrupted our sleep
- No vent in shower which made our room hotter
I personally would not stay here again because of the lack of AC and loud road noise. Everything else was great.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, but everything was fresh and good—better than I would expect from a typical three-star hotel.
One of the hotel's biggest advantages is its location. It's only about a four-minute walk from the train station, which made arriving and departing by train incredibly convenient. It's also right on the edge of Lucerne's Old Town, making it easy to explore the historic center on foot.
The room and the hotel overall were clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a great value for the location.

Very nice location. Hotel was definitely upgraded to a more modern look. Room was large for Europe. Bathroom was very clean. I would recommend this hotel.

Buffet breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and bread and expression machine. Small balcony for breakfast and snacks. Only downside was lack of A/C during heat wave. But the staff supplied 2 fans to help cool the room.

Staff is what made my stay so special. Very kind, helpful, amenable. There is NO air conditioning. Rooms are small and circulation is almost nonexistent so beware if booking during summer. Decent breakfast spread. Great location, convenient and near major points of interest. The staff truly did make the stay so comfortable and I would recommend the hotel to anyone outside summer season.

Very close to train station. Super clean and quiet. Could bring in own food to spacious breakfast area throughout the day. Provided a fan in room to help during heatwave. Tip: there is a 'locals' park on the lake on the far side of train station. It is a nice break from visitor hubbub along the river.
