Walkable and close to public transportation

Worst Experience Ever! I am not one to leave a bad review but this definitely calls for it. It’s our first time in Paris and we decided to book here since had stayed in other Ibis before without an issue. We arrived immediately felt unsafe once checking in I started getting a bad feeling and talked to my family about staying somewhere else and as we started looking for another option. We got a random knock telling us to open the door we asked who was it and if it was someone that worked there they said no and insisted on us opening the door (we are girls) we said NO and immediately contacted Reception they dismissed our complaint. The hotel didn’t have a peep hole and extra lock it felt like a prison. All they could offer was to change the code of the room and when we asked for a refund they said no. I repeat don’t stay here it might be cheap but I definitely comes with a price!

very basiic facilities, good for one night stay. however quite clean

Unhappy

Clean room and not noisy.

Not properly cleaned especially the bathroom, air conditioning was not working, breakfast was just pathetic not enough choice. Only bread, cereal, coffee. Should add more items for breakfast. They was no kettle and cup. It should provided and important is they should be safety locker in the room. I feel that the hotel is not safe to put our valuable items. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Breakfast can not be simpler in European standard with that price. So we did not choose and did not witness any other guest, either. Climate control has a box in our room showing a number, tempareture? No botton works. The actual control is the window one can use. Staff speak mostly local language and can't feel any hospitality when they try to speak English; Maybe because it is a "budget" hotel, one can find many items are budgeted, such as the noise proof, one can enjoy all the sound from any adjacent rooms, left, right, up and down, let along the hall way. In one case we thought there was an earthquake when your immediate neighbour close the door and that explaines why there are so much noise of people dragging their beds. We had to do the same to make the bed not touching the wall. Terrible arrangement. If one wants to have a rest, not even a good rest, please find another place. This is not one place but both ibis budget hotels we used. We might use ibis again but never their budget ones. We wish to thank them for letting us understand what "budget" means in English on top of Oxford ALD provides. By the way, the distance from the Pantin STN to the hotel is NOT as said 3mins here or 2mins by ibis. It is a good a block and half away with the rough road surface. If one has luggage/s, one more reason to think twice. As matter of fact, the posted distance is the major reason why for us to choose. But it is a budget hotel and everything is budgetted except noise and distance.

Amazing night staff was very attentive. One slight issue was the room shower which was broken,

Good location, close to restaurants, bakeries, RER and the canal area good for walking and picnics
