Honestly what a lovely little place this is, can't fault it one bit, lovely spacious room, bed so comfy, lovely original features all around, and 2 of the cutest little dogs pottering about, breakfast was lovely! Would definitely stay again.

A gem of a house with a wonderful host! Like stepping back in time!

David was an excellent host.

Fantastic stay at spybank, David was very polite courteous and helpful. Breakfast was tremendous and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Clean, comfortable room in a historic home. David is a kind host, made a great breakfast. Quiet neighborhood outside of Edinburgh, only a few restaurants nearby, but they are good.

Quirky accommodation run by a lovely guy. Room was clean and he put on a great breakfast

David was wonderful and very helpful with tips on sightseeing! Breakfast every morning was wonderful!

Very pleasant overnight. Got in late, but host David was most accomodating. Excellent, made-to-order breakfast!

I had to leave too early for breakfast. Parking was very safe.

David our host was very warm, welcoming and hospitable. A lovely property in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with lots of walks around. Easily accessible by bus from the city. A cooked / continental breakfast is an added bonus. The local village has an amazing pub (Spylaw) with very good food and friendly service and a good family run Italian restaurant ( Dante’s). My husband and I stayed in a very spacious en-suite double bedroom which was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this property.
