Beautiful, clean hotel to stay in

Great location

This hotel is absolutely charming; high end without being snooty. The staff is great and the amenities are perfect. The Library and balcony seating is wonderful. The breakfast area, whether outside or inside is delightful. Can't say enough about this gem of a hotel.

An amazing and unique hotel, as described, and in a great location

The property is gorgeous but the interior feels old and dusty. I personally had major allergies because of all of the dust and improper maintenance. Although the linens felt clean, the rug and curtains felt very dirty and dusty. I noticed mold on the roof right above my bed. I am now sick and imagine it’s from the mold and dust. The team is very welcoming and the hotel provides an honesty bar and treats for the guests, which was very nice.

This hotel was perfect!! The neighborhood is called Santos and it is great for a more quiet ambiance, however still close to everything you would want to do in Lisbon. The hotel itself was so charming and very well kept. The staff at the front desk were all incredibly helpful and always very sweet and welcoming ready to assist at all times. The garden is absolutely beautiful and great for a coffee break or breakfast. They also always have coffee/tea and AMAZING pastries like pastel de nata that are included with the stay.

An elegant hotel, quite grand and very nicely decorated to fit the period of the building. Staff were very helpful. Good location, few bars and places to eat nearby. About 15 minutes walk to the busier parts of the city. Loved the library on the to floor and balcony. Honesty bar a nice touch. Room and bathroom very spacious.

We finished our Portugal trip with 4 nights here and loved it. Arrived before noon and Anna suggested we get some coffee and snacks and room was ready very quickly. We really liked our suite which was spacious, bright, and had a view over the Tagus. Bed very comfortable. Highlights of this hotel are the breakfast buffet and pastries and coffee available all day, the complimentary carafe of port in the room, plus the 4th floor library and patio overlooking the river. We received very good advice from concierges Anna, Elsa, and especially Ines who booked all 4 dinners for us and each meal was quite good. We liked the location a bit away from usual touristy areas and were able to walk most places, or use Bolt; and a bus stops right outside. Room was very quiet at night, maybe because it's not on the street side, but the street itself seems quiet when we returned from dinner. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel breakfast had a great selection, and the courtyard was probably the nicest location I have eaten breakfast. The roof terrace was a lovely setting for evening drinks. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating, I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and family
