The hotel was well located near a subway which was about a 10minute walk away. Easy access to Taxis and Didi as they come straight to the outside of the hotel. The staff were helpful and the facilities on offer were everything you could need. Excellent options for dinner which we would highly recommend the buffet dinner. All you can eat and drink for about £18. The breakfast was an excellent variety of food to meet all tastes and was always well stocked.

Zoe has been very helpful during our stays. The front desk and lounge staff were always warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the tea selection in the lounge.

Great Location and Value, with a Few Minor Connectivity Issues ​My wife, our son, and I recently stayed in a twin bed room at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-town. Overall, it was a great base for our family trip. Here are our main pros and cons: ​Pros: ​Excellent Mall Connection: The hotel connects directly to U-town, which is incredibly convenient. After landing in Beijing around 4–5 PM, we were settled into our room by 6:30 PM. Being able to just head downstairs for a quick, delicious dinner before jet lag set in was a lifesaver. ​Location: Situated inside the 2nd Ring Road, making it a very convenient pickup spot for tour groups. It’s also only about a 30-minute taxi/DiDi ride from the airport. ​Fantastic Fitness Amenities: The gym is fully equipped for strength training, cardio, and yoga. The separate side studio is a major plus if you want to do your own HIIT or yoga routine without taking up space on the main floor. The indoor swimming pool was also a huge hit with my wife and son. ​Value: Exceptional value if you can book it for under $100 USD/night. ​Cons: ​Unreliable Wi-Fi: The internet connectivity was a major downside for me. While I could connect to the Wi-Fi network, I frequently got no actual internet access. This ended up eating significantly into my cellular eSIM data plan. ​Average Views: The view from our room was nothing spectacular—just a standard view of the city blocks. ​Verdict: Despite the frustrating Wi-Fi, the location, price point, and amenitie

For an international type hotel, hardly anyone spoke English. I understand I am in another country but we had to use a translating app to get the simple questions answered. During our stay, there was a lot of rain. It was noted in the gym and the lobby the roof was leaking significantly. Other than that this day was good the beds were comfortable and the hotel was near enough to everything that it made our overall stay enjoyable and would come here again.

Maybe it is Beijing but the hotel was less luxurious than the photos depicted. Minimal amenities and strange layout of the sink, made it difficult to have anything on the counter. Maybe perhaps it was due to the older age of the hotel. Received 3/5 stars with 1 star deducted for value and 1 star depicted due to age and amenities. Overall OK, but location was good and staff were helpful.

This hotel was very poor value for money. Every hotel I stayed in China had a laundry. This was not the case on this property. The room I stayed on the 9th floor was not good enough. Very tired with very old fittings. Bathroom shower and hand basin seals were leaking in many spots and non tiled walls felt a bit slimy. Toilet seat was coming out of place. The only good thing about this hotel was the entrance directly to the mall next door.

We had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were always welcoming and professional. A special thank you to Zoe for her exceptional service. She noticed from our reservation that our child was celebrating a birthday and thoughtfully prepared a lovely surprise gift for him. It was such a kind and caring gesture that made our family feel truly valued. Zoe’s attention to detail, warmth, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. She made our child feel so happy and gave us a lasting impression of the hotel’s wonderful service. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing. The mall is basically inside with the hotel which the most awesome thing ever! Tons of shop and restaurants, my kids love it!
