This property is old everything the hotel the towels the shower doesn’t have a door so when you take shower the water is everywhere. They only have 3 Restaurants first it’s very hard to make reservations and the food is not good at all out of the 3 Restaurants italian is better .you get the same chips wine in all three of the Restaurants. The buffet is a little better but food was always salty and basically the same every day . Breakfast was the worst there is no consideration for the guests who don’t eat pork plus hard to communicate with the chef none of them speak English. The bar only one with very chips liquid always lines specifically on the weekends we stay for 8 days we couldn’t wait to leave. Over the weekend a lots of locals who check in everything was over crowded butffet was long line plus some food was out . Entertainment almost zero the same thing everyday .only one night we enjoyed it that’s Michael Jackson night. The sacks the same everyday.There is nothing good about this place. Infront desk was rude.The beach we couldn’t swim the wave is too strong we were told that area is also like that. They only have one swimming pool and always crowded. What we like the buffet servers very nice also smiling specially Edwardo and Jacqline and also like the Barista station. All we can say is don’t waste your hard earned money on this property

Lo primero es que lo que te ofrece el hotel no es lo que parece, en las habitaciones no te ponen ni agua en la nevera, solo te ponen un termo para que lo llenes de agua afuera, aparte de eso, el aire desde el primer día que llegué dio problemas, un total desastre, enfriaba por momentos, se fue la luz por varias horas y aparte de eso el cuarto con una humedad terrible. Coji muchísima lucha para poder conseguir reserva en uno de los restaurantes, lo cual fue pésima la comida y mejor me fui al buffet. Para completar fui a cambiar las toallas de piscina y el chico que estaba de turno me dice que las toallas se cambian a partir de las 12 pm. Quiere decir que si están sucias o mojadas debo usarlas así. Lamentablemente no cumplen con lo que ofrecen. No es todo incluido. La comida no es variada, siempre casi todo lo mismo. Muy mala experiencia. Fui al tangerine porque había ido al be havens en puerto plata y me encantó. Pero realmente en cabarete es una pérdida total. Muy penoso 👎

Me gustó mucho el hotel más el servicio del señor Eduardo camarero luego tienen que trabajar con la demás personas en servicio al cliente

I was traveling on July 15 and the only good thing that this hotel has are the super attentive and very friendly employees, we had to ask them to change our room because the one we had was horrible, the air didn't work, the musty smell was too strong, the floor was all full of water, the walls liquefying water, the bathroom had never been washed it, apparently since the hotel opened, and the towels and sheets, don't even say horrible, the super disappointed cleanliness was not what we expected, I got carried away by comments that I saw from the photos and in reality, when you arrive, it's the opposite of what we imagine, it's a place that doesn't matter to them, and they don't care and the food wasn't the best and went to few-star hotels and it has much more cleanliness, it's something for, it's something you's paying and it's to feel comfortable Not unpleasant for me it is a place that I do not recommend I got carried away by the comments and everything was the opposite and we were not the only ones who were disappointed the first night they didn't even let me in simply because I was in a short suit which they do not have a dress code and I was not the only person who did not let in total disappointment with the facilities all included and I had to go out to get food and drink never because even the sodas had a bad smell just like desserts.

Everyone one was super great and resort was very clean . Food was ok but the bar not to many choices, the breakfast team was super great . I when to celebrate my birthday and they made it special! Good resort to stay. I recommend to everyone one !!!

Great experience all around.

The good: Viva tangerine resort was great stay, the rooms where kept clean and tidy, single pool which can get filled up quick at times but the beach was awesome, anemities was ok, resort activities was enough to keep you occupied if you don't do excursions. The bad: not alot of English speaking staff but we manage to get by, main building elevator kept breaking down and when it does work it smelled really bad we opted to use the stairs for that reason. The three resort restaurant Viva Mexico, La Vela and Melt food wasn't that great, almost all the food we tried was tasteless or generic if you're lucky with Melt having decent taste. The buffet area has way better food, to go through the hassle to get reservations should warrant great tasting food, the theater employees where entertaining when in the theatre however when they perform at the pool area they where severely out of sync with each other, trying to get guesses engaged was so laughable that we found that entertaining. Also those very staffs seem to wear many hats at the resort, we see many of them at different time of day performing other duties ( I can only hope they are payed well and not over worked). Overall the resort was good despite those flaws. I can see myself returning in the future or using another viva location on our next family vacation
