Disappointing stay — great location, poor value
The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of De Pijp, surrounded by cafés, restaurants and a great neighbourhood atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay was disappointing.
The room was small and poorly designed, with the sink right next to the bed and no separation or privacy. We were told that a room with better separation would cost an extra €50 per night, which felt unreasonable given the price we had already paid.
The gym was also misleading. It is well-equipped, but it is not inside the hotel and felt more like a private training studio, with three personal trainers present at the same time who were also loud, rather than a hotel facility. It was busy, loud and uncomfortable to use.
There was also loud noise from the restaurant area late on Saturday night, which disturbed our sleep.
Overall, apart from the location, the hotel felt poor value for money, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Staff was wonderful. Room was spacious with great air conditioning. Shower and bathroom were well lit and very nice. In-room bath tub was also great. 10/10 would recommend to any friends staying in the area. Our room was above the restaurant with a DJ one night, but the staff gave us a heads up and it was no issue. Location was super convenient to the metro and multiple trams.

PROs: Rooms are clean, coffee and water in the room are complimentary. Location in De Pijp is lovely.
CONs: If you have an early arrival flight, don't expect to get your room before check in time at 3pm.
The gym should not be advertised as a hotel amenity. It's a shared space with local personal trainers and not freely available to guests.
Room A/C is a gamble. Ours crapped out after the first day. Staff attempted to reset it from the front desk controller. After two complaints, I had to request a new room in the middle of the night.
On top of that, room phone was not working so I had to keep walking down to the lobby since I don't have WhatsApp.
Not family friendly. There are red light windows right next to the restaurant.
