When checking in at the hotel I wa abruptly told that I cannot claim any loyalty points for the hotel stay because I booked through a 3rd party app. So what 3rd party? Airlines and other hotels don’t have issues like this. Ridiculous policy, when booking a hotel consideration of brand and loyalty definitely forms part of the decision. Then this and no point earned…

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. We had king room with sofa bed with sea view. Got a paid upgrade when we got to hotel which was not expensive. Lovely breakfast too which set us up for the day.

This was our first stay in this hotel and we were very impressed with the establishment, in every respect, but especially and particularly because every member of staff we encountered was polite, listened to what we said, and were totally helpful. It was quite noticeable that the staff were well trained, well motivated, and keen to help us during our stay.

The hotel looked amazing. Food and cocktails on the bar amazing. Great room Very clean. And excellent value. However, my quibble was the pool and spa. It seemed dark and gloomy and lack lustre down there. Badly sign posted.Labyrinthian. it was not a comfortable place to be. It was clean, no issues there but not as great as it could have been.

We found the hotel's location to be exceptionally convenient. The staff were welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was a pleasant size and maintained a high standard of cleanliness. Additionally, the on-site pool provided a wonderful amenity for relaxation. It was a truly enjoyable experience overall.

Dinner in the restaurant bar was awful, truly awful.

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole and had a lovely overall experience. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of Brighton’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our room was comfortable and clean, and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the check-in experience. The hotel was extremely busy, and there were large numbers of guests waiting for their rooms and room keys. Our room wasn’t ready until close to the stated check-in time, and when we did receive our key, we were initially assigned a room that wasn’t what we had booked. However, after returning to reception, the staff resolved the issue and were lovely to deal with despite how busy they were. It really seemed that the team had their hands full during peak check-in time, so the delays felt more like a capacity issue than a service issue. Once we were settled in, the rest of our stay was excellent. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great seafront hotel in Brighton.

Nice looking hotel some areas are a little tired but overall very happy with the amenities.
