No hot water and elevators were not working for 24 hours and we were on 8th floor. In addition the hotel was extremely dirty

Very nice clean place. Will stay again. Close to everything, the beach, good restaurants

We checked in June 19th, 2026 for a 7 day stay on the 3rd day we return to our room and found a staff member standing in the dark in our room. She claimed to have made our bed but she had not! I hade made it before we headed out that day. We had left the red arrow on our door to not come in. We made cleaning staff aware that morning we did not need our room cleaned. Even the manager verified we were on the do not clean list. She had no supplies, no cart nothing in her hands. We asked for the manager (Claudia) who continued repeatedly to tell us her staff did nothing wrong and telling us she had a cart which she did not. My husband went out to check. We never found the red arrow on the door. It was taken off. We had no choice but to check out and get another hotel. We felt very uncomfortable after this incident. We were truly enjoying our time there until this happened and felt very discarded by the property manager (Claudia) she had no empathy for our situation. If your looking for privacy and a safe place I would diffently book somewhere else. We also, knew our bed hadn't been made as there was a stain from us spilling something on our sheets and it was still there.

due to power outage lasting the better part of the day, we left one day early as we did not care to stay in a room without any power. also water was coming in thru the patio door and many many towels had to be used so as not to flood the room. had to carry down bags 4 flights of scary dark stairs. hotel refused to give us a room credit that we had already paid for to use to future stay or money credit. if you involved in this credit or refund, please contact at this email

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. Close to good restaurants and right across from the beach. Enjoyed the breakfast.

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced hands down!

I booked an accessible room unintentionally and was surprised when I entered room. No complaints with that because it was my own error in booking, but I do want to say the bed was not comfortable, felt like it had a sink whole in it, and I can’t imagine that being very comfortable or accommodating for people needing additional accommodations. The staff were all very friendly, and everything was very clean, so I would definitely come back, and pay more attention at booking.

Stayed 3 nights at the Hilton Galveston and left underwhelmed. Traveling with a crawling baby, cleanliness is non-negotiable for us and the floors were clearly not properly mopped. I ended up mopping the room myself, which is not what you expect at a Hilton-priced property. The in-room phone didn’t work, so housekeeping requests had to go through a text number that went unanswered for hours. To make matters worse, housekeeping won’t clean your room or restock essentials unless you explicitly request it something we weren’t told upfront. This was my first Hilton stay and, unfortunately, likely my last. I wouldn’t recommend this property, especially for families with young children.
