The initial draw to this place was the price which had us thinking it was too good to be true. A decent price, a good looking room and the mention of free breakfast…no way. The only thing that needed to be changed was our room because of a slight noise disturbance(a tree hitting the rooftop) but the staff was accommodating and had us in a new cottage within minutes. Both rooms were very clean, roomy and had everything we needed. Location wise, this is a great spot within walking distance to the beach and less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Monterey! As if all of that is not enough already, their breakfast is impressive. There are two very friendly staff members working the breakfast dining room and knocking it out of the park! They have a buffet with eggs and potatoes and a rotating daily special, along with cold and hot cereals, coffee, bagels, fruit, toast, oatmilk and gluten free options. If you’re staying in the cottages, this meal is free of charge. You cannot beat it, highly recommend this spot!

This is our second time coming here and it’s been good to us. Definitely will be coming back again.

Loved the character and the relaxed feeling. Don’t call very old granola bars, bottled oj and apples a “buffet”. It was very dissapointing. I would have happily made arrangements w friends to go out if I knew it was this!

We came here for a baby moon and had a great time. We liked that the property was close to downtown PG and Lovers Point, as well as Monterey proper; but still very quiet in the morning and at night.

No seating at breakfast time and minimal breakfast menu. The room was clean . I booked for 2 nights on Expedia and was told I only had one night and had to pay a much higher price for the 2nd night.

It was so peaceful and quiet here. A whole herd of deer lived in the meadow behind our room. The room was spacious and clean! The breakfast cooks and staff were amazing! We stayed part time in the cottages and loved the outdoor firepits and outdoor seating! Minutes away from your choice of so many beaches! We will definitely stay again

Very nice management so nice like family

It was fine, the room could have been cleaner and the property better maintained. The staff was also not super friendly, I was disappointed in the experience for the price, but it wasn't terrible.
