The room was clean, check-in was smooth, and the location was perfect for a pit stop in Athens where we had just enough time to stop by the Acropolis.

We loved saying here. Felt like staying with a welcoming family and not at a hotel. George ensured we understood all the features of the hotel and the room upon our arrival. Yianna was so friendly and helpful in mapping out our time in Athens to ensure we saw as much as we could in our short time. Absolutely will stay here again if we find ourselves in Athens.

Acropolis stay is an excellent place to stay while you are in Athens . It’s close to everything you need to go and explore the city. Very nice and knowledgeable worker especially Yianna . The room was clean and immaculate. I would rate it 10/10 for my experience.

When I booked this hotel several months ago I was not really sure what to expect, other than it had good reviews. Now after having spent 2 nights there recently I see why this property receives excellent reviews. The staff was phenomenal, scheduling our pick up from the cruise port and then scheduling our transport to the airport. Check in was quick and fantastic experience. The front desk receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours before our room was available. They stored our bags while we explored Athens and contacted us when the room was ready, which was 2.5 hours before the check in time. Upon returning to our room the front desk receptionist took it upon herself to place our suitcases in our room for us, saving me lugging up 4 suitcases up steep stairs, as the hotel does not have an elevator. This place is located in the historic district, an easy and quick walk to the Acropolis, Parthenon, Panathenaic stadium, great restaurants, and plenty of shopping. Just around the corner from the hotel is the historic pedestrian streets with all the restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious, modern, and extremely clean. The price per night was very reasonable. If visiting Athens, I would highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Acropolis Stay! Such a fantastic location and the staff were fantastic. Shout out especially to Joanna whose enthusiasm for her hometown was infectious and she gave us so many great tips. Our room was on the top floor so there were some stairs to walk up which weren’t a problem at all for us. Good news is that there is a lift for suitcases which really helped. Would definitely star there again.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a great experience. The room was extremely clean, the bed was really comfortable, and despite being right alongside the road, the acoustics were surprisingly good. The owner was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is also fantastic—a very walkable and safe area. The only downside is that the room and bathroom were quite small for two people; managing our bags made it a bit uncomfortable at times. That said, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money!

Superb room and really helpful staff

The hotel was in a great location with easy access to restaurants, archeological sites, and shopping. The staff were very kind and helpful. The family room was a perfect set up for my husband, myself, and our two teens who could have their own beds. I would definitely stay again.
