Very convenient location. The breakfast is wonderful. We enjoyed our stay.

As a fan of Freddie, a stay at The Freddie Mercury when in Montreux is a must. It's campy, and fun and you can't not smile in the public areas. As a rather fussy hotel guest, I had no real issues. There isn't air conditioning, but there is some air circulation. The rooms are basic, but how much time do you plan on spending in there? The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is reasonable for the price (on demand omelettes and lots of variety). It was clean enough, though there is some wear starting to show. The staff was very helpful. Most of all, the location is amazing and on the train station platform (you can hear the trains from your room if you're on that side, but it's a soft/gentle woosh every now and then). I'm so glad I stayed there. Thank you!

It is a very well located hotel, practically a few steps near the rail station, which makes the hotel confortable in that way. The staff is gently. My only regret, and is a big regret, is that I found a dirty women underwear in my hotel room, just the day of my arrival. I was looking for a plug to plug in my charger, when I found that underwear, and that only means how well they do the cleaning of the room.

the only thing to improve is that in the room were 2 tea bags, but there was 3 of us :-)

Clean, right at the train station, so location good for those travelling…..very simple rooms and furnishings. If you aren’t looking for bells and whistles this could work.

Literally on the platform at train station. Rooms were clean and temperature was fine during hot season outside.

Located right next to the train station and close to the downtown, very clean, laundy availaible for some $, nice breakfast and really nice personal

Great help from Ionut when we checked in so kudos to him. Literally next door to the train station although really up the hill from the city and the lake. Great breakfast buffet (not included with the room, still worth it). The mattress on one side of the bed tilted downward. One the tables had poke or punch marks on it and the cleaning staff did not change one of the sheets that had stains on it. We also saw trash on a table in a common area that did not get picked the three days we stayed there.

Very nice modern hotel in a great location near the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to the lakefront. Front desk lady was friendly and provided good suggestions for easy travel to Chillon Castle and boat to visit Vevey. Now for improvement needed: 1- Check in was quite slow. Many people were waiting in a que. 2- Poor communication with us when we sent questions via Expedia...Will they store luggage if we arrive early? (They do), Did they see the change to our reservation? (They didn't) They never responded via Expedia messages. I called the day before our arrival to get answers. 3- We had a beautiful room on the 5th, top floor. Upon arrival we found urine in the toilet so cleaning was questionable. 4- The room had two safes which was odd. Both were unusable. One was locked and couldn't be opened, the other was open with the locking fingers extended. An attempt to retract them resulted in a loud squealing alarm that we couldn't turn off. 5- The nice large TV had separate modes for radio music play (No music by Queen) and television play. I couldn't switch the modes. 6- There were NO electric outlets beside the bed. Two outlets were positioned behind the headboard of the king bed and not accessible without moving the bed. Outlets were found on the opposite wall. 7- A push button light switch to control room lights was located behind the top edge of the headboard. When leaning back it would shut off the lights. These are minor details but could be improved
