I loved my four nights at The Store!!! It started with the amazing welcome by the friendly staff and a welcome drink upon a very hot arrival. My room was upgraded due to my Expedia status without even asking, and I was offered the food and beverage credit upon check-in. I have found that to get these perks at some VIP hotels, you often have to ask specifically. The room itself was so clean, bright, and cheerful, and they had lovely music playing upon arrival....small touches that make an environment feel very welcoming. The waters and such in the minibar were included and restocked daily. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily. The air conditioning was a bit weak, but I asked for a fan, and it arrived at my room within minutes. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. The spa's thermal area, which guests enjoy at no cost, was lovely. The only con I encountered was that I was never able to get the screen casting to work, and on the last day, the channels on my TV stopped working. The pros more than made up for that. Everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the spa area. The room was a bright, calming oasis at the end of a long day. I was truly sad to check out. This was a wonderful stay! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. When I return to Oxford, this will definitely be where I stay!

Hotel is in a great location and the staff are very sweet and helpful. The room was a little warm and stuffy on the hottest days. The gym very small. Only 2 people fit comfortably in there. Spa services were amazing. But the steam room was not so steamy. Breakfast selection was great and yummy. Overall I do recommend.

Everything was great - except for check out. Had to ask a second time to not be charged for breakfast morning of departure and cab ordered didn’t show / staff had to be pushed to help me. After a really nice stay the exit experience fell far short of expectations.

Great check-in experience. Staff was super friendly, helpful and provided excellent orientation on hotel and its amenities. Offered to help with orientation to city and restaurants. Room was not ready when we arrived but they texted to let us know when room was ready and moved our luggage into room. Food at the restaurant was good and we also tried out room service as we were watching World Cup matches. Quality of food was good but more training for staff taking order (how many people or sets of cutlery do you need? Would you like any beverages, etc.) would be helpful. Breakfast service was inconsistent. Staff did not clear tables even though they were walking by tables with dirty dishes. A teamwork and training issue? It took a while to place our order on the first morning but it was much better on the second day. Otherwise… facility is in a great location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again in next visit to Oxford.

Overall, excellent hotel in a great central location. Only minor complaint relates to size of our room, which was on the small size.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. I couldn't have had a better experience. Bravo!

Our daughter stayed there, she was presenting for her PhD at Oxford’s U and we were supposed to be present there, however, the visa glitch for my wife prevented us from attending. According to my daughter she had great time at the hotel

Nice hotel convenient and clean

Beautiful stay at The Store. It is in the centre of Oxford and in walking distance of all local restaurants and the new theatre. We arrived slightly early, but were able to complete pre check in and our bags were kept safely. We headed up to the terrace bar while waiting for our room - beautiful views! Every member of staff was exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We will definitely choose The store again on our next visit. Tip: if travelling by car - park at Westgate only a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Comfortable bed. Great spa. Nice staff. Great service. Best location in Oxford.
