All I can start with is WOW! Everything about Candellari19 is amazing. Francesca is the nicest host and made sure my stay was “tutto bene.” My room was very comfortable and was an especially welcome place to relax after walking up from the bottom of the hill in the serious Sicilian heat. As hot as it was, it was worth it to be in the old part of Modica, which is beautiful and really nice to explore. The location overall is fantastic - close to Castello di Conti and very easy to get to chocolate shops and restaurants all over Modica. And the breakfast is incredible. Not only are there fresh pastries every day, but also fresh fruit, good coffee, yogurt, breads, cookies… It’s a feast. And there’s a great view from the upper level terrace to top it all off. I highly recommend staying at Candellaria19 for a genuine Modica experience. Thanks for a great stay!
