The accommodation was adequate. Whilst everything had been cleaned, there was grime built up on grouting and around the fridge seal that wasn’t great. In the kitchenette, a refillable pump was provided with dishwashing liquid but the contents was weird. It had separated into two levels and I couldn’t bring myself to use it. I didn’t use or even look at the kitchenwares. I had brought my own cutlery, etc.
Unfortunately the place is very dated with thin walls, next door’s television blasted through so I wore headphones.

I’m a little baffled by all the 5 star reviews. While the location is amazing and the staff were very helpful, the rooms are rather average. At first glance they appear to be well-cleaned, but looking closer there was dust and little bits of rubbish gathered on the carpet around the edges of the room, the curtains had huge tears in them, there were marks all over the walls and there was dirt/mould in the shower grout. Overall it just felt old and grotty. Thankfully the towels and bedding appeared clean. The bathroom is very dated and rudimentary at best and the toilet didn’t flush properly. I’m glad we were only staying for one night and will book elsewhere next time. 3 stars is probably being generous and is for the location and the staff.
