This establishment was very clean and the location is very convenient. I would assume République square is less that 30 second walk from the hotel.
My only issue and this is just a huge preference for a solo traveler. WiFi was extremely weak where I would only have connections for 5 seconds at a time. On top of that, they did provide a fan, but it would’ve been nice to have A/C. It was very difficult to sleep in 90+ degree weather.
Other than that, the staff was extremely helpful and housekeepers came in everyday to make the bed and change towels.

The staff were very cooperative. They let us store our luggage before our check in and after the checkout.
The location is amazing. It’s in the heart of the charming old Paris. Restaurants, grocery and pretty much anything you may need is available nearby. Transit is at the doorstep. The rooms don’t have air conditioning so please ask the front desk to give you a fan. The elevator is a bit tiny, maximum two people can barely fit inside. It’s good for one person carrying luggage otherwise stairs have to be used.

Cukup Baik Seeing it in the Orbitz, realizing it different. If you go as a family, my recommendations would be no. There are lot of other hotels nearby, but when the recommendations thru Orbitz, literally bad

It was ok for a night on a budget. It's in a great location in walkable distance from the centre and felt safe. However, there was no hand towel, so we had to use our shower ones. The shower gel came in individual packs in tiny amounts, one for each person! There were 2 plugs in the entire room, one of which was for the TV so we had to unplug it. Found a few hairs on pillows and on the toilet seat. The elevator is tiny, avoid if you're claustrophobic.

Was promised AC. Did not get it. Instead we were put high on the 4th floor with no AC or fans at a balmy 91 degrees, room was hotter than outside. We got sick and immediately left for another hotel. Still fighting for a refund. When asked front desk, their response was ‘our manager is out of town, we can’t help you’.

If you’re accustomed to spacious American style hotels, you’ll need to adjust your expectations. If you want to experience an old-style Parisian hotel and one that doesn’t break the bank, this hotel would be a decent choice. It is due for a refresh. But I found my room to be more than adequate. It was clean, a decent bed and good water pressure in the shower. It was quiet even though it is on a major street. The staff was very personable and professional. The location is super convenient as it’s just steps away from the Place de la République, the metro and several bus routes.

Pros: Fabulous location with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to two metro stops.
Employees were great, very friendly and helpful. We encountered no problems while we were there and were always greeted after being out.
Clean: Everything was clean. Beds were decently comfortable.
This is a pay for what you get kind of place. The room, hallway, staircase are small, especially for 3 large Americans, but everything was comfortable. No frills, but no concerns either. Exactly what we were looking for!
Things to consider: no AC. We were there when it was decently hot. When the window was open, the breeze was very nice at cooling things off, but then it was noisy on the street side.
Noise: All of us slept fine, but the noise level in our room with the window open was loud. Normal traffic/siren/people noises. If you are a light sleeper, this might bother you, but then you should probably look for a place not so near the center of the city.
Would absolutely stay here again!
