The best thing about hotel Oporto is the location for the price. I got a fabulous view of the Sao Joao festival fireworks. The room was bare bones but clean. The whole hotel seemed more empty and weird like The Shining. I think it must fill for conferences. The staff and breakfast were fine.

This is a wonderful hotel! The staff were quite welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, offering direction, recommendations and arranging for transportation for us. The location is fantastic - ocean and bridge views from the room and an easy walk to the central area, yet off the beaten path, so very quiet. Breakfast was included, and with outstanding options. We had an early departure for the airport for our return trip, so they even packed take-away breakfasts for us! Our sincere thanks to the Vilar Oporto - I would highly recommend this hotel!

Internal decor ok, room very dated and felt very budget, bathroom nice. No bar open in evening and this is on the out skirts 15/20 mins walk to centre. Terrace shocking, broken tiles and dirty, no bins. Our patio was completely shattered tiles, nothing to sit on. From back hotel looks more like a prison!

Our checking went smoothly and our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful with questions and any special requests. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. The dining room and buffet area was kept tidy.

Parking was available at the hotel. Breakfast was terrific! Beds were good. This hotel is a 20 minute walk from the historic center. A beautiful hotel recommended highly.

Nice room with good views, breakfast is good. A little out of the way for me but Bolt/Ubers are cheap so able to move around
