Fantasztikus Never travelled alone before so I was a little nervous. Had a private room and it was very spacious, clean, and the AC worked great. Street can be a little noisy at night on the weekend but it’s a great location (also, that’s typical for a city). Shared bathrooms on the floor were accessible, if one was taken the other was usually free. They were both clean (but one did run out of soap.) Felt very safe as a young woman. Other occupants were friendly and helped when I struggled with the door (TIP: hold your key card there for like 10 seconds). Overall, had a very enjoyable stay! It was honestly better than the more expensive 2-star I stayed at earlier in my trip. Very worth it for the price. Loved that I could check-out late too. I recommend:)

Location is great! Everything is nearby, a nice ice cream place just a few steps from the door, and plenty of restaurants around. Even though the place is located in a very busy area, the place is very quiet.

Muy limpio el lugar , la ubicacion me gusto mucho y la buena recepcion , me gusto mucho ese lugar,es una construcción antigua pero muy bien conservada volveria sin dudarlo

Room was dirty shower was shared between 10 rooms and ran out of hot water every day. Staff were terrible difficulty and hard to deal with. I would avoid this hostel is possible. However the location and neighborhood was incredible absolutely loved Madrid and would highly recommend but do not stay here.
Laundry machines was broken, kitchen appliances did not work, staff “worked” a few hours a day check in was impossible check out was difficult and they tried to change you extra for everything.

could not check in since there was nobody in the front desk and no contact information. other guests told me they stayed outside all night

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE SLEEP AND PEACE OF MIND!!!
The staff was incredibly argumentative and gave multiple misrepresentations and tried to charge me for things that did not exist as possibilities to be charged for. They will blame it on not understanding.
I never got more than three hours of sleep here. In addition to the noise from the street below (the room has very poor soundproofing) and the other guests' loud snoring, I also would have to flick away bugs from my bed while I lay awake at night.
They do not have ample restroom facilities either. After the men's shower flooded, I was told I had to use the women's shower. Moreover, they shut off the water in the only bathroom, meaning the toilets could not flush and I could not wash my hands.
Paying an extra amount to purchase a new hotel and check out early was well worth it for my health and sanity.

Estuve solo unas horas para descansar porque tenia un vuelo en la noche. Buena opcion para guardar las cosas en el centro de Madrid
