We booked into a sister property & got no notice that we were moved to this one. It was fine, but we would have liked a heads up. Also, I received an email confirming that I would have a bathtub (medical reason). We were were put in a room without one & had to move. There were only 6 rooms occupied in the hotel when we were there in April, so the breakfast was very scarce compared to what they described as their usual spread. This is a small family owned property. It is well maintained & the staff were friendly & helpful. They will pick you up at the train station if you make arrangements with them in advance.

This was a charming hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The suite with two rooms and two bathrooms was really nice giving us room to spread out.

What a wonderful, cozy stay! We stayed 2 nights in the Matterhorn Suite. The views of the Matterhorn from the rooms are breathtaking! The hospitality was remarkable, most notably from Michael! Breakfast was superb and included in the price of our stay. It’s our second time to Zermatt and when we return, we will book again with Hotel Chesa Valese!

Everything was clean, looks newn well maintained rooms/ amenities!! Food was high quality but you should go at the breakfast because i don't think they refilled food after specific time or depending on how many guests are there..?

Fantastic location with a view of the Matterhorn from our balcony and conveniently located for shops and restaurants. Very nice room and breakfast with friendly and helpful staff - highly recommended.
