The only thing we had trouble with is the cups and glasses are on the top shelf I the high cupboard we are short and we struggle to reach. Otherwise we had a great stay.

The location was awesome, close to the beach and shops. Beautiful clean rooms that smelled lovely. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean and spacious and well laid out. My room was by the road and I thought it would be noisy but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night. The Hotel is well within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. I thought it was good value for money. Would definitely stay again

Such a convenient location, close to the motorway off ramp and easy, flat walking distance to Takapuna.
The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful.
We will be staying here again for sure.

Great stay at the Carnmore Hotel during a last-minute family trip. Staff were very helpful and polite throughout, and the room was clean. I had a minor issue with ants, which staff responded to quickly and there were no further problems.
The location is great for Takapuna and North Shore Hospital, which served my purpose perfectly. The kitchenette was a nice touch, though a coffee press would have been a welcome addition. One downside: the hotel is on a busy road, so for a longer stay it wasn’t as quiet as I’d hoped, even with a room set back from the main road.
Overall, a solid choice for convenience and friendly service.

Great location with nearby shopping and groceries. Lovely room. Large and pretty looking bathroom. Very handy kitchenette with microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle. Updated smart TV with Google capabilities. Mostly clean except the shower floor felt a bit too slippery, like it hadn't been properly scrubbed. Room 311 shower faucet hot and cold are opposites. We waited too long for the water to get hot so we tested it on the cold and it finally increased temperature. Besides that we found the room to be everything we needed for one night for a family of 3 with a 3 year old. Thanks for the brownie, too!

One of the best hotels for price i e ever been in, well maintained inside and out, good size room, great bath room tastefully decorated friendly staff, shopping and eaterys close by walking distance
