Wonderful stay in a quaint environment. The culture park next door offers a lot of fun and entertainment. Our kids loved the playroom and never wanted to leave. Their breakfast buffet selection is amazing. Would go back!

The hotel is like a hidden gem. Walking distance to the traditional art park. Strongly recommend the night tour starting at 8:50 pm if check-in is before that time. Staff is very friendly, introducing everything very patiently. The breakfast is very impressive as they offer lots of local authentic ingredients with many choices. Would definitely recommend it to our friends.

What an unique beautiful setting! You can have a free access to Cultural center all day while staying here. Beautiful lake, boat ride, shows and shops and restaurants! , I loved it but need to know its not a luxury accommodation. It has a feel of being at the college campus, buildings are ancient and stylish and buildings are scattered out among garden n bridges. If you arrive at the night, you may feel little isolated and scared. We were. No restaurant at the hotel site but walk all the way to the end of culture center, they offer hot pot restaurant for the night but otherwise, closest store offers drink and cup noodles… yes thats it. We didnt have a car to go out so we ended up having a cupnoodle night. we felt like we are experience dorm like trip! Great for kids and young people

The bunkbed room was perfect for our family. Each bunk has privacy curtains and a light inside. There was a nice living room space with a sofa. The wash basin is separate from the toilet and shower. The location is so convenient next to the traditional artisan village. I should also mention the breakfast was fantastic. Lots of variety. Evening dining options are limited and while we were there in December they closed at 18:00. We ventured out for dinner.

The staff was very helpful and kind! Our room was clean and fun local snacks. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The shopping, walks around the lake, and food options made this place a must stay in Yilan County!

The hotel is located in the cultural park built by the local government. It is a place where you can experience traditional art and culture, with night tours and traditional performances. The design of the hotel is inspired by the architecture of the early Republic of China, which is like going back in time. There are many activities in the park and shops. Restaurants in the park were not good, but the breakfast managed by the hotel was excellent. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and a bit far from the city; however, it is surrounded by greens, which is quiet and peaceful.

The breakfast was 10/10. The best hotel breakfast I ever had! Outstanding! Focus on traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Highly recommend!

The MICHELIN Guide Recommended Hotel, “The Moment Hotel – Yilan” based on the concept of “Spending a night in the ancient city” is located by the Yilan Park of NCFTA (National Center for Traditional Arts), allowing travelers to sleep well and play freely, to gather happily at NCFTA and to explore the cultural traces in everyday life, to experience Taiwan’s traditional arts in depth. The guest room buildings in the park were designed by Huang Sheng-Yuan Architects, where the lattice windows with terrazzo flooring, the hallway with the fish pond, the pavilion with wooden chairs sum up to provide a strong Taiwanese-style ancient city, such that one feels as if going back to Taiwan in the old days while strolling around freely during the accommodation period, thereby creating memories filled with strong cultural ambience for the travelers.

National Center for Traditional Art Yilan (NCFTA) will be closed on 2026/02/16 (Mon) and 2026/03/18 (Wed). The park will not open to public all day.

Self-service kiosks are available for check-in and check-out at your convenience.

To ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all guests, except for the designated smoking area , all indoor spaces, including guest rooms, balconies, and bathrooms, are entirely smoke-free.This policy applies to all forms of smoking, including cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and heated tobacco products.A cleaning fee of NT$12,000 will be charged for any smoking activity detected in guest rooms or on balconies.Guests will be held liable for any damage to hotel property or amenities.

Pets are not allowed to enter the hotel except for guests who reserve Petcation Package.

If a pet is found in a non–Petcation room, a cleaning fee of NT$6,000 will be charged to cover the cost of a full sanitation procedure.

The hotel also reserves the right to charge additional fees for any damages caused.
