Fantasztikus The location is very convenient. It's about 3-4 blocks from the Sapporo station and also a walking distance of interesting things to see, such as the Clock Tower (100m), Odori Park (200m) and the TV Tower (300m). There are numerous restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful - and at least two of them spoke English (so, not all of them). The room was clean, even if a bit worn out. Sound insulation was excellent. I had a Japanese style room, but there was a proper spring mattress on the tatami floor and a couple of chairs (pretty low, but fine), so you don't need to sit on the floor if you prefer not to. I think this hotel is good value for money.

What I didn’t like was how the whole property smelled old and how the rooms looked outdated and old. I also wished there were more outlets to charge my devices. The only pros were that this hotel was close to Sapporo Station and many of the important landmarks of this city, and that the staff was kind. Also, be patient with some of the staff who doesn’t speak English.

Wifi not working properly in my room. I used other available wifi in the hotel just to be connected. No elevator from the ground floor to the reception area at the second floor which was very hard to climb up especially when you have many or large luggage.

The staff were really nice. Having a laundry machine was an important bonus. The only real problem was that the bed was uncomfortable.
The room was really small, but that was OK because we only needed a place sleep and bath, and lication and staff more than made up for that.
